Wisnu Askari Marantika
Mr. Wisnu Askari Marantika was appointed as Antam’s President
Commissioner in 2004. He graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering,
Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) in 1976.
Previously he held various key positions at PT Telkom Tbk such as
Engineering Director (1992-1995), Technology & Planning Director
(1995-1996), and Senior Advisor to the Board of Commissioners (2003-2004). He had executive positions in various companies
such as President Director of PT Elektrindo Nusantara (1997-2000), President
Commissioner of PT Komselindo (1998-1999), President Commissioner of PT Indosat
Tbk. (2000-2002), President Director of PT Infoasia Sukses Mandiri (2003-2006),
Commissioner of PT Infokom Elektrindo (2005-2007) and Vice President
Commissioner of PT Infoasia Teknologi Global Tbk. (2001-2008).
He was 56 years old as of December 31, 2009. |

Irwan Bahar Commissioner
Mr. Irwan Bahar joined Antam as a member of the Board of
Commissioners in 2008. He graduated with a degree in Geological Engineering,
Bandung Institute of Technology in 1976, and received Master’s degree (Diplome
d’Etude Approfondie, 1981) and Doctoral degree (Doctor Engineer in Geology,
1984) from Universite des Science et du Technique du Languedoc Montpellier,
France. He was Alumni of Regular Course Batch XXX from the National Resilience
Institute (LEMHANAS, 1997). He held various key positions in the Ministry of
Energy and Mineral Resources, starting from Echelon IV Officer (1985-1989), Echelon
III (1990-1992), Head of Geology Research and Development Centre (1993-1997),
Head of Mineral Technology Research and Development Centre (1998), Functional
Officer of Senior Lecturer (2000-2003), Chief Coordinator of Task Force Team on
Regional Autonomy of Energy and Mineral Resources (2001-2003), Expert Staff of
Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources on Human Resources and Technology
(2004 until June 2006). From July 2006 until end of 2008, he was the Head of
Education and Training of Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and Expert Staff
of Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources on Economics and Finance
(2008-2009). Currently he is an Expert on Geology at Geological Agency of the
Department of Energy and Mineral Resources.
He was 60 years old as of December 31, 2009. |

Mahendra Siregar Commissioner*
Mr. Mahendra Siregar joined Antam as a member of the Board of
Commissioners in 2008, at the age of 45 years old. He graduated with a degree
in Economics, University of Indonesia, Jakarta in 1986, and received a Master
degree in Economics from Monash University, Australia in 1991. He was the
Expert Staff of Coordinating Minister of Economic Affairs, Deputy Director of
Planning of Department of Foreign Affairs, Head of Trade Promotion of
Department of Foreign Affairs and Consul of Information at the Indonesian
Embassy in Washington DC, Secretary II of Economics Affairs at the Indonesian
Embassy in London and Deputy Minister in the Coordinating Ministry for
Economics Affairs. Since November 2009, he was appointed as the Vice Trade Minister
of Indonesia.
He was 47 years old as of December 31, 2009.

Hikmahanto Juwana Independent Commissioner
Mr. Hikmahanto Juwana joined Antam as a member of the Board of
Commissioners in 2009. Mr. Hikmahanto is a Professor of Law, University of
Indonesia where he has been full time faculty member since 1988. Besides
teaching at the University of Indonesia, he also teaches at various
universities in Indonesia and abroad. Mr. Hikmahanto received a degree in Law
from University of Indonesia (1987), LL.M from Keio University, Japan (1992)
and Ph.D from University of Nottingham, UK (1997). Mr. Hikmahanto also
participated in numerous non degree courses in Indonesia and abroad in various
fields, such as international trade, competition law and legislative drafting.
Mr. Hikmahanto is also a legal practitioner. He was an assistant lawyer at OC Kaligis
& Associates (1986-1987) and lawyer at Lubis Ganie Surowidjojo Law Firm
(1994-1997). He was also a bureaucrat at the Coordinating Ministry of Economic
Affairs with his last position as Senior Legal Advisor and Institutions (Echelon
I/b) (1999-2001). Mr. Hikmahanto was Dean of the Faculty of Law, University of
Indonesia (2004-2008). Mr. Hikmahanto writes numerous books and articles. His
works have been published in various national and international journals and articles.
He is also a public speaker at numerous seminars, workshops and conferences in
Indonesia and abroad.
He was 44 years old as of December 31, 2009. |

Mahmud Hamundu Independent Commissioner
Mr. Mahmud Hamundu joined Antam as a member of the Board of
Commissioners in 2008. He graduated with a degree in Agriculture, University of
Hasanuddin Ujung Pandang in 1979, and in 1985 received a Master of Science degree
from University of The Philippines, Los Banos, Philippines. He was a member of
the Southeast Sulawesi Local Parliament (1987-1992) and held various key
academic positions at the University of Haluoleo. He was the Dean of Faculty of
Agriculture of the University of Halouleo for two periods (1992 -2000), and the
Rector of the University of Haluoleo for two periods (2000-2008). Since 22
October 2008, he is the Chairman of Supervisory Body of Indonesian Main
Cooperative of Village Unit Cooperative from 2008 untul 2013. He is active in
community organizations such as Vice Chairman of the Board of Scholars of The
Indonesian Association of Muslim Intellectuals (ICMI) from 2006-2011, member of
the Advisory Body of the Islamic Corps of College Student Alumni (KAHMI), from
2006-2011 and member of the Board of Scholars of the Indonesian Agricultural
Economics Association (PERHEPI) from 2006-2011.
He was 59 years old as of December 31, 2009. |
