As a business entity which strives for sustainability, Antam realizes that energy is an aspect that should be noted and its uses should be saved, by applying energy conservation and utilizing renewable alternative energy. The policy of energy use efficiency should continue to make the efforts and to be implemented with various steps, among others, put the call for energy saving on stickers, establishing Quality Control Project (PKM), electricity use control, and preparing action plan based on audit recommendation. The effectiveness of energy saving is identified from energy audit conducted every year. One of Antam’s efforts to conserve indirect energy was by conducting monthly production meeting with video conference. The audit results are regularly sent to the Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry (ESDM), in accordance with government regulation.
