Vast high quality mineral resources and ore reserves are among the most important factors in maintaining the company’s sustainability and increasing shareholders’ value. Antam follows the 2004 JORC (Joint Ore Reserves Committee) Code issued by Australasian Mining and Metallurgy for the reporting of estimations of resources and reserves. Antam also includes the reserves and resources of its subsidiaries, PT Cibaliung Sumberdaya, PT Gag Nikel, PT Borneo Edo International and PT Mega Citra Utama in the Ore Reserves and Mineral Resources and Proven and Probable Reserves tables.

Antam’s Geomin Unit conducts all of Antam’s exploration activities for nickel, gold, bauxite and coal. The main activities of Geomin include searching for new discoveries, improving the classification status of ore reserves and resources estimations and arrangement of required licenses, as well as involvement in project studies.
