R. Sukhyar
President Commissioner

Mr. Sukhyar was appointed as Antam's President Commissioner in 2012. He received Doctor of Philosophy degree from Monash University, Australia and an alumni of National Resilience Institute in 2003. He currently serves as Head of the Geological Agency of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

He was 56 years old as of December 31, 2011.

Dr. Robert Pakpahan
Commissioner

Mr. Robert Pakpahan was appointed as Commissioner on April 30, 2013. Received DiplomaIV from State Accountancy School in 1987 and Philosophy of Doctor in Economics doctoral degree from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1997. Previous key positions include Director General of Debt Management at the Ministry of Finance (2012-now), Expert Staff in State Revenue to the Minister of Finance (2011-2012), Director of Business Transformation Process at the Directorate General of Tax (2006-2011) and Director of Taxation Potential and System at the Directorate General of Tax (2005-2006).

Zaelani
Commissioner

Mr. Zaelani was appointed as Antam's Commissioner in 2012. He received a degree from the Faculty of Economics of the Airlangga University and an alumni of National Resilience Institute in 2009.

He was 51 years old as of December 31, 2011.

Velix Vernando Wanggai, MPA
Commissioner

Mr. Velix Vernando Wanggai was appointed as Commissioner on April 30, 2013. Received a degree in International Relations from the Faculty of Social Science and Political Science of Gajah Mada University, a Master’s degree from Flinders Institute of Public Policy and Management, Flinders University, Australia and doctoral degree from Australian National University. Previous key positions include Project Staff at at the National Secretariat of the Infrastructure Development Program of Disadvantaged Villages at the National Development Planning Agency in 1996 and Special Staff in Regional Development to the President of the Republic of Indonesia since 2009.

Hikmahanto Juwana
Independent Commissioner

Mr. Hikmahanto Juwana joined Antam as a member of the Board of Commissioners in 2009. Mr. Hikmahanto is a Professor of Law, University of Indonesia where he has been full time faculty member since 1988. Besides teaching at the University of Indonesia, he also teaches at various universities in Indonesia and abroad. Mr. Hikmahanto received a degree in Law from University of Indonesia (1987), LL.M from Keio University, Japan (1992) and Ph.D from University of Nottingham, UK (1997). Mr. Hikmahanto also participated in numerous non degree courses in Indonesia and abroad in various fields, such as international trade, competition law and legislative drafting. Mr. Hikmahanto is also a legal practitioner. He was an assistant lawyer at OC Kaligis & Associates (1986-1987) and lawyer at Lubis Ganie Surowidjojo Law Firm (1994-1997). He was also a bureaucrat at the Coordinating Ministry of Economic Affairs with his last position as Senior Legal Advisor and Institutions (Echelon I/b) (1999-2001). Mr. Hikmahanto was Dean of the Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia (2004-2008). Mr. Hikmahanto writes numerous books and articles. His works have been published in various national and international journals and articles. He is also a public speaker at numerous seminars, workshops and conferences in Indonesia and abroad.

He was 45 years old as of December 31, 2011.

Laode M. Kamaluddin
Independent Commissioner

Mr. Laode M. Kamaluddin was appointed as Antam's Independent Commissioner in 2012. He received Doctor of Philosophy degree from the Iowa State University, USA. He currently serves as the Rector of Sultan Agung Islamic University at Semarang.

He was 62 years old as of December 31, 2011.
