Antam is obliged to provide its employees who are exposed to safety and health hazards at the workplace with high compensation, fitting to the risk they bear. Antam’s minimum high-risk compensations are generally higher than the prevailing minimum wages in the company’s operating areas. In addition, the determination of the amounts of the Company’s minimum high-risk pay also takes into account their impact to the development of the regions’ economies.

Similarly, in the case of vendor selection, Antam prioritizes business dealings with local vendors that exhibit the competencies or resources needed with due regard to prevailing procurement regulations and laws. In addition, Antam requires maximum local content in every procurement whose objects are unavailable within the Company’s operating areas, or even the country, and can only be provided by foreign vendors.
