Jakarta, Desember 15, 2011 – PT ANTAM (Persero) Tbk (Antam; ASX - ATM; IDX - ANTM)  is pleased to announce that today it has donated a number of computers to educational institutions in the surrounding of its operation and post-mining areas, as part of corporate social responsibility (CSR).

Antam’s General Affair & CSR Director, Antam's Finance Director, and the President Director of PT Berca Hardayaperkasa symbolically handed over the donation to each of the representatives of the educational institutions at the Aneka Tambang Building.

Antam’s General Affair & CSR Directors, Maulasa Denny said,

"The donation is part of Antam’s CSR program and an expression of our concern for educational development. We hope that the facilities support will help the institutions with resources limitation."

On this occasion, 80 personal computers and 13 laptops were donated in good condition at Antam's Head Office to a number of educational institutions in Jakarta, Depok, as well as those located in the company's operation and post-mining areas, such as Tayan, Cikotok, and Kutoarjo. The donation program is also implemented in Antam's unit and business units.

This program is a cooperation between Antam and PT Berca Hardayaperkasa, the company's computer supplier. In addition to the computer-donation program, Antam also contributes to the educational field through scholarships and the construction of school infrastructures and facilities in the areas surrounding its operations areas.
