Jakarta, June 25, 2010 – PT Antam (Persero) Tbk (ASX-ATM; IDX - ANTM) is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indonesian Financial Development Comptroller (BPKP) in the implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) principles today in Antam’s Head Office, Jakarta.

Antam's President Director Alwin Syah Lubis, BPKP’s Deputy of State Accountant Ardan Adiperdana and BPKP’s Jakarta 1 Representative Head, Maliki Heru Santosa signed the MoU today.

Antam’s President Director, Alwin Syah Lubis said:

Following the signing of the MoU, Antam and BPKP will cooperate in areas such as Good Corporate Governance, Risk Management, Key Performance Indicator, Information Technology Governance and Audit.

The scope of the cooperation includes support on the audit implementation, assessment and professional opinions, technical guidance/assistance for the development and application of managerial tools, education and training in monitoring, evaluation and development of internal control structure and second opinion study and analysis.

BPKP is the state financial development comptroller which is responsible in the supervision of financial and development in accordance with applicable government regulations.
