Jakarta, December 10th, 2010 - PT ANTAM (Persero) Tbk (Antam; ASX - ATM; IDX - ANTM) is pleased to announce it receives The Most Trusted Company Title in Good Corporate Governance Perception Index (CGPI) Award 2009.  The award was presented to ANTAM‘s Human Resources (HR) Director, Achmad Ardianto on Thursday, December 9th, 2010 at Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta.

The assessment of CGPI 2009 was conducted by the Indonesian Institute for Corporate Governace (IICG) to public listed companies, state-owned enterprises and other companies.  The assessment included self-assessment survey, corporate document completeness, corporate paper presentation and also observation.

ANTAM’s HR Director, Achmad Ardianto, said:

"ANTAM continously improves  and enhances the implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG).  The award is an appreciation for ANTAM’s efforts in implementing GCG, not only to comply with the regulations but also to set GCG as part of the ANTAM’s corporate culture."

CGPI Award 2009 was run by IICG in cooperation with SWA magazine and the theme was "GCG as a Culture."

Antam received The Most Trusted Company Title in CGPI Award in two consecutive years as Antam also received the same title in 2009.
