ANTAM'S Nickel Commodity Recorded Positive Performance Growth During the First Five Month Period of 2019

Jakarta, June 19, 2019 - PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTAM; IDX: ANTM; ASX: ATM) recorded positive growth on Company’s nickel commodity production and sales performance within the first five month period of 2019 (5M19) which surpasses production and sales achievements in the first five month period of 2018 (5M18).
In 5M19, ANTAM posted ferronickel production volume amounted to 10,736 tons nickel contained in ferronickel (TNi), stable compared to 5M18 ferronickel production volume of 10,617 TNi. ANTAM’s ferronickel sales in 5M19 reached 10,728 TNi, improved by 13% compared to 5M18 sales volume of 9,511 TNi. Meanwhile for nickel ore commodity, total nickel ore production volume reached 3.98 million wet metric ton (wmt) or increased by 25% compared to 5M18 in amount of 3.19 wmt inline with ANTAM’s ferronickel production level and the growth of Company’s nickel ore sales. The total sales volume of nickel ore in 5M19 reached 3.11 million wmt, a 93% rise compared to 5M18 sales volume of 1.61 million wmt.
ANTAM’s President Director, Arie Prabowo Ariotedjo said :

Based on Company’s development strategy which focused on mineral downstream project, ANTAM is currently focusing on completion the Company's main development projects.
