Antam has numerous mining licenses covering over 1.3 million hectares in Indonesia, which provide significant potential to develop new mines and processing facilities. To develop such vast areas, Antam requires significant risk capital and in some cases the latest mining and metal processing techniques and technology.
In order to share and minimize those risk capital and to obtain the access to these latest techniques and technology, Antam has entered joint venture agreements with several leading international companies to jointly develop these potentials.
