Jakarta, May 10, 2010 –  PT Antam Tbk (ASX - ATM; JSX, SSX - ANTM) is pleased to announce that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Provincial Government of Southeast Sulawesi.

The basis of the MOU is to provide Rp5 billion to improve the health care facilities of the Southeast Sulawesi Provincial Hospital.

Antam’s General Affairs & CSR Director, Denny Maulasa, said,

"The MOU reflects our commitment and participation in improving the community health."

The MOU reflects Antam's commitment in the implementation of CSR initiatives, notably in relation to community health in Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi. The management of the Southeast Sulawesi Provincial Hospital has committed to a proper, accountable and transparent management of Antam’s contribution.
