 ANTAM Handles Disaster Impacts in Various Regions in Indonesia

Jakarta, January 26, 2021 - PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTAM; IDX: ANTM; ASX: ATM) is handling the disaster impact that hit various regions in Indonesia since early 2021. Among them are the earthquake in Mamuju Regency, West Sulawesi, flood in North Halmahera Regency, flood and landslide in Gunung Mas Area, Bogor Regency and Sumedang Regency, West Java.

ANTAM's Director of Operation and Production, Hartono said:
“ANTAM has an emergency response team that is experienced in handling the impact of disasters in Indonesia. The Company commits to support Government initiatives on disaster relief management. Emergency response teams and paramedics have been deployed to help reduce the burden on the community from disasters.”

In Mamuju Regency, West Sulawesi, ANTAM has sent an Emergency Response Team with rescuer competence on collapse structure search & rescue (CSSR) as well as paramedics by bringing medicines to provide first aid for earthquake victims since January 17, 2021.

Until January 22, 2020, ANTAM's Emergency Response Team, which is part of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Team, intensively assisted evacuation posts in Ujung Bulo Hamlet, Ujung Bulo Wisata Hamlet and Nangka Hamlet, Karampuang Island, Mamuju Regency, West Sulawesi. Health and medical services were carried out for dozens of victims as well as the provision of masks and medicines.

A total of 500 units of antigen rapid test kits have also been submitted through the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Team, Local Health Service and Tax Service Office to be used by the community in Mamuju Regency, West Sulawesi on January 25, 2020. As a form of corporate social responsibility, ANTAM has also delivered logistical assistance to refugees in Mamuju such as rice, foodstuffs, mats, blankets and baby diapers on January 20, 2020.

In North Halmahera Regency, ANTAM distributed logistical assistance including milk and snacks for flood victims at evacuation posts in West Kao District and Galela District on January 19, 2021.

In addition, in West Java, the Company also provided logistical assistance of foodstuffs and hand sanitizers for flood victims in the Gunung Mas area, Tugu Selatan Village, Cisarua District, Bogor Regency. As well as logistical support for victims affected by floods and landslides in Cihanjuang Village, Cimanggung District, Sumedang Regency.

As well as the floods that hit the city of Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, ANTAM has distributed aid of basic foodstuffs for residents living in evacuations.
