Jakarta, April 11, 2020 - PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTAM; IDX: ANTM; ASX:ATM) through West Kalimantan Bauxite Mining Business Unit and subsidiary together with 18 SOE’s which is incorporated in the West Kalimantan National Disaster SOE’s Group distributes several medical equipment on April 7, 2020. The medical equipment were received by the Regional Secretary of West Kalimantan Province as the Chief of the Provincial Covid-19 Handling Group.
ANTAM's Director of Human Resources, Luki Setiawan Suardi said:

After a quick coordination with the incorporate state-owned enterprises in West Kalimantan Province, We are grateful that the procurement process of medical equipment can be completed timely and well distributed. We hope the assistance will support medical personnel in the prevention and dissemination of Covid-19 in West Kalimantan Province."
After being appointed by the Ministry of SOE’s as the coordinator of the SOE’s National Disaster Group for West Kalimantan region, ANTAM & the SOE’s group undertook the acceleration for the Covid-19 handling from mapping the needs of medical equipment necessity by coordinating with the West Kalimantan Regional Government, determining procurement process into distribution of medical equipment process.
The first distribution phase conducted on April 7, 2020. During that phase ANTAM along with PT Inhutani II, PT Telkom (Persero) Tbk, PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero), PT Borneo Alumina Indonesia, PT PELINDO II (Persero), PT Pegadaian (Persero), LKBN Antara dan PT Jasa Raharja (Persero) handed the Coverall Personal Protective Equipment, gloves, medical shoes, N95 masks, medical glasses, disinfectants and hand sanitizers. The total of three stage was being planed for the medical aid distribution. The second phase are currently on process, the medical equipment will be directly distributed after the completion of process.
The SOE’s joint team of Covid-19 Handling Group in West Kalimantan are committing to support the Covid-19 prevention and handling campaign in Wet Kalimantan Region. The West Kalimantan Covid-19 SOE’s handling group are consist of ANTAM, PT Pertamina (Persero), PT PELINDO II (Persero), PT Pegadaian (Persero), PT Perkebunan Nusantara XIII, PT Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (Persero), PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, PT Jasa Raharja (Persero), PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero), PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero), PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, PT Telkom (Persero) Tbk, LKBN Antara, Perum Bulog, PT ASABRI (Persero), PT Inhutani II, Perum DAMRI, PT Kimia Farma (Persero) Tbk and PT Borneo Alumina Indonesia.
