ANTAM and West Kalimantan SOE Task Force Participate in  The Convalescent Plasma Donor National Movement

Jakarta, February 12, 2021 - PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTAM; IDX: ANTM; ASX: ATM) in collaboration with the State-Owned Enterprises (SOE’s) National Disaster Task Force for West Kalimantan, implement the program from the Ministry of SOE’s, namely the Convalescent Plasma Donor National Movement as an effort increase the cure rate and reduce the mortality rate in Covid-19 patients.

ANTAM's Director of Human Resources, Luki Setiawan Suardi, said:
"ANTAM and the West Kalimantan SOE Task Force are collaborating with PMI and RSUD Dr. Soedarso as a hospital, is currently able to practice conventional plasma donors. The Company continually supports and actively participates in programs launched by the Government to deal with Covid-19."

The implementation of the first phase of the convalescent plasma donor, coordinated by ANTAM, was conducted at Dr. Soedarso Hospital, Pontianak, starting on Monday, February 8, 2021. In the early stages, this donor activity prioritized Covid-19 survivors from employees and families of SOE. Furthermore, this activity is expected to expand to the community so that increasing the awareness and participation of Covid-19 survivors to donate their plasma to help save Covid-19 patients.

Mr. Erick Thohir, Minister of SOE’s, led the launch of the SOE’s Plasma Program for Indonesia on February 8, 2021 in Central Jakarta. In his remarks, Minister of SOE’s, Mr. Erick Thohir said this program was the Ministry of SOE’s and SOE Companies' consistency in fighting Covid-19. This program is held simultaneously in at least 15 provinces throughout Indonesia and is watched online in 34 provinces of Indonesia.
