Synergies ANTAM and Local Government Build Bokeo Laduma Market in Kolaka

Kolaka - PT ANTAM Tbk (ANTAM) Southeast Sulawesi Nickel Mining Business Unit distributed assistance for constructing the Bokeo Laduma Market in Dawi Dawi Village, Pomalaa District, Kolaka Regency on November 30, 2020.

The market development assistance was a synergy between ANTAM and the local government of Kolaka to empower communities around the company's operational areas.

"ANTAM continues to support the improvement of people's welfare in the small and medium economic sector. Hopefully, this assistance will provide economic benefits for the community," said Khaidir Said as General Manager of ANTAM's Southeast Sulawesi Nickel Mining Business Unit.

The assistance is four market lodges consisting of 32 kiosks with a budget of IDR 2.2 billion from the 2020 ANTAM Community Social Responsibility (CSR) program.

Floating Elementary School

Throughout 2020, ANTAM also contributed to constructing bridges, vehicle parking lots, school canteens, and prayer rooms at Dawi Dawi Floating 1 Elementary School.

Also, 45 outboard engines were given to fishers from ANTAM's assisted groups in Pomalaa District for the third stage.
