ANTAM Provides Stimulus for Foster Partners to Reduce Covid-19 Economic Impacts

Jakarta, April 16, 2020 - PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTAM; IDX: ANTM; ASX: ATM) provides stimulus to foster partners through an installment payment postpone up to one year. The Company initiated this program to reduce the social, economic, and community well-being impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic. ANTAM believes the program will maintain the foster partner's small business as well as sustain ANTAM's performance as one of the pillars of the national economy through community development. The Partnership Program is one of the three corporate social responsibility activities in ANTAM besides Community Stewardship and Community Development.

ANTAM's Human Resources Director, Luki Setiawan Suardi said:
"The stimulus to postpone foster partner's installment signifies to lower economic impact in the community throughout the operational area because of Covid-19 pandemic. The initiation also implies ANTAM's representation of the environmental and CSR implementation commitment. ANTAM’s present the policy following President Joko Widodo's directions correlating the stimulus relaxation policy and the course of the Ministry of SOE’s concerning stimulus for the Partnership Program."

The stimulus program to postpone the installment stands from April 1, 2020, to March 31, 2021. The Company will review the policy every three months considering the circumstances and policies released by the Ministry of SOE’s and Mining Industry Indonesia-MIND ID. The review will administer the most affected partners will accept the advantage of the stimulus.

Consider to ANTAM's operational areas in different provinces, foster partners should propose through a written request. The restructuring proposal should be addressed to near ANTAM's Business Unit or Head Office, and also suitable with regulations and policies regarding the stimulus of the Partnership Program, as well as considering its risks. The Company expects that the foster partners, both directly and indirectly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, remain to survive and drive the regional economy.
