ANTAM Achieve Indonesia Excellence Good Corporate Governance Awards 2024

Jakarta, March 8, 2024 - PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTAM; IDX: ANTM; ASX: ATM) member of PT Mineral Industri Indonesia (Persero) (MIND ID) – the State-Owned Enterprise of Mining Industry, announces that the Company achieved the Indonesia Excellence Good Corporate Governance Awards 2024 on the category of Mining and Energy. At the Awards Ceremony Organized by Warta Ekonomi on March 5, 2024, ANTAM was selected as the Indonesia Excellence Good Corporate Governance Ethics in Responsible Natural Resources Management to strengthen Mineral Downstreaming.

ANTAM’s Corporate Secretary, Syarif Faisal Alkadrie, said:
“Implementing Good Corporate Governance (GCG) practices is ANTAM’s commitment, and it is carried out across all operational areas. Therefore, the Company continues to strive to improve and enhance GCG practices by conducting regular GCG assessments by independent parties and independently by the Company’s internal (self-assessment) and by applying GCG principles as the foundation in running the Company’s operations. We acknowledge that implementing GCG principles is very important in the Company’s business practices, which operate natural resources from upstream to downstream to achieve clean, safe, and sustainable business processes. The Company appreciates and regards the award Warta Ekonomi gave as a motivation to improve GCG implementation in ANTAM.”

The award, with the theme GCG Innovation for Better Implementation in Business Ethics and Sustainability, is given to the companies that have the best contributions to GCG implementation. ANTAM has been conducting annual GCG assessments since 2003 as a form of compliance and an effort to improve the quality of corporate governance. The assessments result in recommendations and suggestions that are fulfilled in efforts to evaluate and maximize the best GCG Practices at ANTAM. The Company has established various GCG Policies, such as the Corporate Governance Guidelines, Code of Conduct, Risk Management Guidelines, Internal Audit Guidelines, and other policies that support the consistent and sustainable implementation of GCG.
