ANTAM Distributed A Thousand Of Donation Charity During The Safari Ramadhan Event In Five Region In Indonesia

Jakarta, May 24, 2019 - PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTAM; IDX: ANTM; ASX: ATM) is pleased to announce that the Company held a series of Safari Ramadhan Event in five region in Indonesia. The event conducted in Southeast Sulawesi, North Maluku, West Kalimantan, West Java and Jakarta. During the event, a total of 2,082 charity packages were distributed to the orphan and underprivileged child and as much of 6,800 food packages were donated to the community around the Company’s operating area.   

ANTAM's Human Resources Director, Luki Setiawan Suardi said:

During the Safari Ramadhan, ANTAM held an iftar activity with the orphans as well providing the school supplies donation. ANTAM Safari Ramadhan event was conducted at the Head Office and in each region of ANTAM’s business unit at Southeast Sulawesi Nickel Mining Business Unit, North Maluku Nickel Mining Business Unit, Gold Mining Business Unit in West Java, Bauxite Mining Business Unit, Tayan, West Kalimantan and the Precious Metal Processing and Refining Business Unit in Jakarta. The event was attended by Company’s directors and invited the stakeholders from the regional communication forum around the Company’s operating area.

ANTAM has a solid commitment on implementation of best operational practises as well achieve the project completion of Company’s downstream development target. ANTAM's main  development project consist of the East Halmahera Ferronickel Development Project with a capacity of 13,500 tons of nickel within ferronickel per annum (TNi), the Smelter Grade Alumina Refinery Mempawah Project which aimed to built a one million tons of alumina (stage I) and the Nickel Pig Iron Blast Furnace Project in East Halmahera with a capacity of 80,000 TNi within NPI or equal to 8,000 TNi (for stage 1A) from the total project production capacity of 320,000 Ton NPI.
