ANTAM Receives Indonesia Green Awards 2015

Jakarta, June 9, 2015 - PT ANTAM (Persero) Tbk (ASX - ATM; IDX – ANTM; ANTAM) is pleased to announce that the company was once again awarded in the Biodiversity Development and Water Resources Preservation categories at the 2015 Indonesia Green Awards. The awards were presented by the Minister of Industry of Indonesia Saleh Husein to ANTAM’s General Affairs and CSR Director I Made Surata at the Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta on June 4, 2015.

ANTAM’s General Affairs and CSR Director I Made Surata said:
"The awards reflect the public's appreciation and trust in the company for its efforts in implementing environmental management both in the surrounding and outside of the company's operation areas. The biodiversity development and water resources prevention programs are among ANTAM's comprehensive environmental management programs, which also include energy conservation; recycled material utilization; waste management and greenhouse-gas emission prevention programs."

The Indonesia Green Awards is an annual event organized by the La Tofi School of CSR. The awards are presented to entities which contribute toward nature preservations, including the implementation of social responsibility activities based on green economy principles. The categories of the 2015 Indonesia Green Awards were Water Resources Preservation; New and Renewable Energy Development; Biodiversity Development; Pollution Prevention; and Integrated Waste Management Development.
