ANTAM Unveils Wawo Playground Park in North Kolaka Regency as Part of Wawo Post-Mining Activity

Jakarta, December 31, 2014 - PT ANTAM (Persero) Tbk (ASX - ATM; IDX – ANTM; ANTAM) is pleased to announce that the company unveiled the Wawo Playground Park located in the North Kolaka Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province on December 30, 2014. The 7500m2 playground area was previously ANTAM's limestone mine which was operated from 1978 until 2008. Limestone is one of the consumables for ferronickel processing at ANTAM's Pomalaa ferronickel plant.

ANTAM's Development Director Hendra Santika said:
"The launching of the Wawo Playground Park is part of our post-mining activity at the former Wawo limestone mine which was closed in 2008. We hope the park will enhance the local communities well being as well as improving the local economy."

The Wawo Playground Park has several facilities such as parking area and grass block trail path, park bench, children play area and various trees. ANTAM aims the Wawo Playground Park to serve as family recreational park, sport playground, as well as improving local economy.
